BIG BROTHERS AND BIG SISTERS

- Where: Various elementary schools around Houston
- What: Big brothers and big sisters is a program where they have high school students MENTOR elementary age students at a local elementary school or site.
- How: Fill out two forms: Parent Reference Form and Volunteer Application. Once you have filled out these forms, scan them to [email protected].

- When: Wednesdays
- Who: 2015-16 Pen Pals
- Where: Online!
- What: Write weekly Pen Pal letters to 4th and 5th graders at Benavidez Elementary School. Email them to [email protected] by Wednesday night.
- How: Contact us to sign up to be a pen pal next year!
- Why: These students come from immigrant households and need our help to improve their reading and writing skills. Also, they look up to us as role models!
- When: Saturdays; 12pm - 2pm
- Who: Any WCA Member
- Where: 10250 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77042
- What: From sorting donations of medical supplies to testing biomedical equipment and lending professional expertise to our various departments, volunteers provide invaluable support to Project C.U.R.E. and are utilized according to their strengths and interests.
- How: Contact us; we have a limited number of spots.
- Why: Help pack medical supplies for people in less fortunate countries.
